This precisely calibrates microphone sensitivity and gain settings that are critical for the next step: calibration with Dirac Live Room Correction.

Each Hyperion audio processor is paired with a highly precise calibration microphone, individually factory-tested in conjunction with its corresponding unit and linked via serial number.

The microphone’s response characteristics enable optimal acoustic measurements and system tuning when using Hyperion’s onboard software or when integrated with Dirac-licensed software installed and executed by the end user.

VIDEO SIGNAL FIDELITY

To preserve the highest possible video signal fidelity, Hyperion engineers removed all non-essential circuitry from the signal path, such as scaling and character generators used for on-screen information like volume levels.

Video signals pass through Hyperion HDMI switching to an ISF calibrated display pixel-perfect, completely unaltered.
