Engineered from inception for seamless Dirac Live integration, Hyperion surround processors utilize Dirac’s advanced computational algorithms to model and correct complex acoustic artifacts resulting from loudspeaker-listening environment interactions.
The system analyzes parameters, including time-domain response, frequency linearity, and spatial reflection patterns, to implement precise corrective filters.

HAA Link, offered through Home Acoustics Alliance, is an optional feature purchased by the end-user and used by trained audio calibrators. It adds value to a top-end product by unlocking calibration capabilities usually only found on the most expensive components.
HAA Link® is a more direct and efficient approach to system calibration that harnesses the Home Acoustic Alliance’s rigorous standards. By combining measurement and control in a single environment, HAA Link reduces steps and eliminates the tedious workflow of switching between measurement tools and the processor’s on-screen menu.

Each Hyperion audio processor is paired with a highly precise calibration microphone, individually factory-tested in conjunction with its corresponding unit and linked via serial number.

The microphone’s response characteristics enable optimal acoustic measurements and system tuning when using Hyperion’s onboard software or when integrated with Dirac-licensed software installed and executed by the end user.

VIDEO SIGNAL FIDELITY
To preserve the highest possible video signal fidelity, Hyperion engineers removed all non-essential circuitry from the signal path, such as scaling and character generators used for on-screen information like volume levels.
Video signals pass through Hyperion HDMI switching to an ISF calibrated display pixel-perfect, completely unaltered.
